Photo requirements
RRB NTPC Undergraduate takes your photograph through your camera during the application itself. You cannot upload a saved photo, so there is no pixel size or file size to match. Get the capture right instead.
How to get the capture right
- •Candidates are not required to upload a pre-existing photograph
- •Capture the live photo using a webcam or the front camera of a mobile phone
- •Wear non-white clothing, preferably dark colours, for good contrast
- •Use a well-lit place with a plain background
- •Keep the camera at eye level before capturing the photograph
- •Stand directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead with a neutral expression
- •Ensure the entire face is clearly visible and centered within the frame
- •Do not stand too close to or too far from the camera
- •Do not wear a cap, mask, or spectacles/glasses
- •Do not capture or upload a photograph of a printed or digital photograph
- •Retake the photo if necessary before final submission
- •Applications with non-compliant photographs are liable to be rejected

- •Center the signature within the 35 mm × 20 mm scan box
